50 YEARS

OF SUSTAINABLE QUALITY

Kränzle can look back on a successful history that began long before the company was
founded. It all began on the day in 1958 when company founder Josef Kränzle started his
first job at the Wieland Werke in Vöhringen as a "Vesperholer" (He was responsible for lunch).
After this probationary period, Kränzle began his apprenticeship as a lathe operator (today's
cutting machine operator) and, after receiving his master's certificate, worked his way up to
master craftsman before leaving the company in 1974.

During this time, as an apprentice, Josef Kränzle came into contact with the first steam
cleaner, which was introduced into the company and subsequently improved by Oskar Ehrle.
Josef Kränzle was responsible for the turned and milled parts, which allowed him to discover
the secrets of the pump and combustion chamber functions at a very early stage and to
develop his passion for this technology.

It is therefore not surprising that Josef Kränzle founded his first own company, Josef Kränzle
Armaturenbau in Illertissen, on September 1, 1974, after leaving Wieland Werke. This was the
beginning of a success story.

MILESTONES:

1974 Foundation of Josef Kränzle Armaturenbau e.K.

In 1974, Josef Kränzle founded Kränzle Armaturenbau e.K. in his own garage with the aim of

manufacturing high-quality high-pressure cleaners for the cleaning market. The idea for this
was born during his time at Wieland. Here he saw the first steam cleaner in action and was
involved in the development of spray guns.

1978 New production facility at Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse in Illertissen

Due to the high quality accessory products such as spray guns and lances, the company
quickly outgrew the garage and a new production facility was considered shortly after the
company was founded. In 1978, the company moved to Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse in Illertissen.
At this time, Kränzle was not yet producing under its own name, but was manufacturing for
established companies in the industry.

1981 Production of the first own high-pressure pump

Kränzle is now known in the industry as a specialist for cold and hot water high pressure
cleaners and offers a wide range of accessories.

In the same year, Kränzle manufactures its first own high-pressure pump. This was an
important step towards the company's own high-pressure cleaner.
